Our radio RTER celebrated this Wednesday 21 December its 4th birthday.

The radio broadcast its programs all day, where we have collected several testimonies of auditors. the ceremony began at 2 pm with prayer and a biblical message read by Pastor Malali from Nyankunde. The politico-religious officials were also present. We also read the letter from our partner TRGN Ministry.

We also talked about our fence project of the field offices of the radio for its security. We have already received 270 euro of donations via paypal and have planned for this project and a $1950 budget which was presented at our meeting.

So far, more than $1000, has been already handed over by auditors. So we could start the job. We thank the Lord for that.

On the field with RTER :

The village of Ngadju had been the target of militiamen of Cobra Matata a fews month ago. Our team went down to minister to the people of Ngadju, took some details, and helped them to make claims to the authorities to have more protection from the army of the Decocratic Republic of the Congo.

We went also to the ones in pain who were in the hospital of Kombokabo to visit them and pray with them.

Because of the insecuirity all arround the village that was in a zone controlled by the militiants of Cobra Matata, we were the only radio that had been on the field to cover this event. The result was one dead and 10 injured people.

Our Choir : "The chosen"

Sylvie Magani and her team have composed some songs for peace.

God has put a special talent on those young guy's. They have come out with their first audio album. Now they wish to have the opportunity to put those songs in video clips to reach more people.

You can pray for them to be more in unity with the Holy Spirit in this project. The choir's name is "The chosen".

Special Youth Broadcasts RTER radio :

In our vision to help the youth and in order for them to accomplish the will of the Lord according to his Word, RTER has taken the opportunity to create a broadcast every weekend for the youth animated by our beloved brother Eric Musezo with the participation of Alphonse Ngwera . 1 John 2 : 14 - 15(KJV)
"I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
"

Different themes are taught such as, the youth and the Word of God, the youth and engagment, wedding, aids, scholarship …

But also the consequences of enrolling in a militia group, witchcraft, sects….

The drama group of the Radio RTER :

The drama group of the radio RTER proclaims peace, messages of peaceful co-existence and of everyday life with sketchs every Sunday on the radio.

Lots of positive reactions of our listeners are recorded on the radio after each of those broadcasts that are mainly for the youth.
Let's pray for this group to be encouraged and strenghtened in Jesus Christ.

Visit at Gety:

i

Gety is the head of the Walendi/Bindi community. The militiants of Cobra Matata keep on with their violent operations. The population lives in stress and terror every day, and this makes life very difficult for the Gety inhabitants.

i

Those militiants operate sometimes in the villages near Nyankunde. They steal, destroy, kill and rape.
We have thought that it was a good thing to go and visit the Christians of this region to give them moral and spiritual support and also to testify of our love for them.
