The creation of the media Radio TV Gospel Reconciliation Nyankunde is a project born in 2012 with the purpose to bring reconciliation among ethnicities all around churches and communities in the North-East region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Civil and political wars in Democratic Depublic of Congo (DRC) since 1996, have generated a lot of sufferings among the population. Millions of persons have been killed, thousands of women have been raped, and some people have seen their houses plundered and their villages destroyed.
The Restoration ministry of RTGR encourages the reconstruction of peace, and cares about the complete healing and transformation of the Congolese people after this war.
The church and the nation, after the damageto the democratic institutions that had been in place for 40 years, are now confronted with majors challenges to rebuild this bruised country. It is very important to work on the healing of the traumas that have been generated by the conflicts. This is the commitment of Radio TV Gospel and Reconciliation.
