LOME IN TOGO
From 23 to 27 November, about fifty media professionals travelled from Lomé in Togo for a week of training.
On the occasion of this third edition, some participants testified about the changes brought by this new dynamic initiated by Radio Réveil (Bevaix SUISSE).
During the whole week of training, the emphasis was put on the convergence of media and the necessary versatility of professions related to journalism.

In view of the current health conditions, the "Lomé 3" seminar was attended by around 50 participants and other interested people followed the conference on the Internet.  Workshops enabled participants to develop their skills in image capture, web radio, animation, journalism and mastering FM techniques.

The François SERGY prize for this year 2020 was awarded to Mr. Jean-Luc SIMBILYABO of the radio Télé Evangile Réconciliation based in Nyankunde in the province of Ituri in DR Congo.
The next Lomé 4 is set for November 2021.

Nyankunde and its region have been at the heart of a major ethnic conflicts which became a genocide in 2002. In the sole village of Nyankunde, 5000 persons lost their lives. The material degradations , the human and spiritual concequences have been tragic. On the material side, we can notice the destruction of the social and economical infrastuctures such as the print house and Neno la Kweli radio. (Word of truth), which facilitated the evangelical activities areas before the war. The territory of Gety, in the East of Nyankunde continues to suffer because of the war attrocities that impact the population of this region.
